NFL veterans who could lose jobs to rookies in 2023

Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

It’s hard to find a place where a Jaguars rookie has a great shot at a starting role. The only one to have an inside track is Anton Harrison, who is expected to start right tackle in 2023. straight away lining up to replace the Jaguars’ long-time left tackle, it’s likely to push Walker Little to the left and that’s probably enough.

Robinson will be suspended before the start of the 2023 season and $17.75 million in cap savings will be available if the Jaguars move forward next season. All that means Harrison’s addition was probably Robinson’s pink slip from Jacksonville. Whether in 2023 or 2024, Little looks like the left tackle of the future for the Jaguars, and Robinson’s days with the team are numbered. It’s not quite the one-for-one replacement that most of the rookies on this list represent, but Harrison’s addition is nothing if not bad news for Robinson. – Adam Stites, Jaguar’s Wire
